Our Beginnings
Basecamp Coffee Company was founded in 2015 by Hayden Ort-Ulm, and has grown exponentially since its inception. Hayden brings his growing passion and interest in coffee to his community on a daily basis, and Basecamp Coffee can be found at a number of retail locations. Centered in Cumberland, MD, with a full service coffee shop, Basecamp Coffee Company focuses on quality, consistency, and customer service.
Quality
Quality starts with community, and we love the community at Basecamp. Nothing compares to the great relationships built with both local and visiting coffee lovers.
Of course, our quality also extends to our products, and we are proud to source from farms that use ethical practices, valuing our planet and our fellow humans. Although not all of the farms we work with have afforded themselves such labels as “fair-trade” or “organic,” we know that each cup of coffee is high quality, from hand-picked sources.
Consistency
We have traveled internationally to bring our customers not only great coffee, but a great experience as well. At our Greene Street shop we offer a full espresso line, house made flavors, batch brew coffees, tea, cold brew and more, all using our own fresh roasted beans. We are up to date on the best equipment and methods being used in the finest coffee shops.
